• Gives a child living with cancer the chance to have fun and to just be a normal kid again.
• Provides fun activities that are safe for children with challenged immune systems.
• Offers informal support for families beginning at a child's cancer diagnosis and we will continue to be there through every stage of their cancer survivorship.

Recent Achievements

November 2009 we provided 12 very deserving families with a full Thanksgiving dinner with the help of the TAVV, VFW and APD.

December 2009 with Cabela's we were able to take Christmas gifts up to the Blood and Cancer Clinic for kids to pick out and take home.

February 1st, 2010, GKS and their supporters presented the Blood and Cancer Clinic with two mobile gaming stations both with DVD players and some games. Childlife Specialist Cindy Fitchpatrick called GKS this morning (Feb. 2) with the wonderful news that both gaming stations are already very popular with the kids and have been played since the first child walked in this morning and is still being played at this moment!
